Looking back at the (Slow) Season & ahead towards the Summer!

Check out our new Air Star Lunix 200 balloons!

It's been quite the busy past few months!   Why is it that the (slow) season sometimes feels more hectic than the busy Season?

Money is always a little tighter... but there is so much we always want to do.   This Winter was no exception.

December - March came and went.  We kept busy doing the following:

-  Supporting the Seattle Seahawks both locally with Rallies, Games, & the big Alice in Chains performance.

- Treking down to the Super Bowl and providing staging and truss support for over 25,000 people at the Hawks rally!

-  Revamping our inventory and warehouse.  We added several key pieces of new equipment:

                      A.  Mars Hill video switching system.  When they went out of business.... we managed to pick up their Black Magic ATEM2 Switcher.  We also invested in two Folsom Image Pro II units with Diversity Cards, and a Folsom Screen Pro II.   The video team is starting to click on all cylinders.

                     B.  LED lighting    This Winter saw us aquiring ETC source 4 Leko LED  fixtures,  Elation RGB and ELAR 108 LED pars.  We converted our entire Tulalip Ballroom rig fully into LED lighting.  We also picked up six CM 1/2 ton chain falls to complement the set-up.

                     C.  Intelligent Lighting.  Yep,  we bit the bullet.  We now own eight (8) Mac 2K profiles,  four (4) Mac 2k washes, and eight (8) Mac Mini instruments.

                     D.  Spotlights.   Can you say four (4) Lycian M2 2.5k spotlights.  Yep.  They're in great shape!

                     E.  Air Star Lunix - 200 helium balloons.   We love these things!  They can light up your grand entrance or your beer garden.... complete with your custom logo.   Quirky and Cool.  They fit us to a "T".

                     F.   Soft Goods.  White Chiffon, Black Velour, etc.   We've been added some great new cosmetic pieces to our arsental.

                     G.  26' Box Truck.  Yep,  we needed another.  She's a beauty with a great rail gate.  Soon to get an amazing truck wrap and be ready for summer.

                     H.   15 Passenger Ford Van.   We often provide runners.  We needed this vehicle.   This one is also soon to get a wrap.

Besides just equipment,  we've invested  $50k into a massive Operations and Warehouse overhaul.  Flex Rental Solutions is a great cloud based software that allows us to track our equipment and jobs in real time.  Everything is getting a bar code and the entire sales to receivables system is being overhauled.

On top of everything,  we've also launched two new companies:   Pyramid Creative and Pyramid Partnership.   I won't let the cat completely out of the bag.... but look for great things on the horizon.

Did I say it was the slow season?  Well,  we still had enough time to fit in a few shows between December and March:

Zillow Holiday Party, Figgy Pudding Christmas Caroling, Queensryche, Macy's, Canlis, Deck the Hall Ball, Saturn Barter, Hometown Holiday, Bob Rivers Twisted Christmas, Red Bull, Make A Wish Foundation, Lee Johnson Holiday Party, Patti LaBelle, Resolution, Monster Trucks, Gin Blossoms, Foghat, Alaska Hometown Hangar, Timbrrr Winter Music Festival, Amazon, Project Bionic, MMA, Rumble on the Ridge, Zones, Pussy Cat Dolls, Jekyll & Hyde, JB Smoove, Eileen Fisher, Beatlemanie, Bullseye Creative, Willie Nelson, Cirque, Rosanne Barr, House of Floyd, Hotel Murano, Fulcorm Foundation, R. Kelly, Amazon Web Services, City University, Rock Ballad Ball, Precept Wine, Jay Leno, Chinese New Year, Taylor Dane, Microsoft, Firefall, Poco, Sounders, Sebourn, Craig Wayne Boyd, K. Michele, Jenny McCarthy, Lucky 2015, Rock n Worship, OSO Anniversary, Chubby Checkers, Ralphie May, Sakuracon, Gladys Knight, ISB Symposium, Joe Rogan, and a Car Auction.

Wow.   We're pretty blessed and super thankful for all the work.  We wouldn't be growing and be where we were today without some of the best employees in the world and some amazing clients that trust us with their projects.

Now.... as we start to gear up for Summer.  I can't help but get excited.
